Mr. Prashant Parameswaran is the President – Soulfull, Tata Consumer Products Ltd from September ‘24. In his previous role, he served as the Co-Founder and Managing Director/CEO of Kottaram Agro Foods (Soulfull) for ten years. Under the brand name of SOULFULL, he has brought back traditional grains like millets to the modern Indian consumer in a form that is relevant for the 21’st century.
With over 20 years of experience, he began his career in 2001 by successfully setting up distribution and retail business units in India under the Kottaram Group umbrella. He was responsible for setting up the Operations, accountable for sales and marketing to the Principal and Profits to the Owner Group. He also built a strong and independent sales force. During his stint in the US, he worked with international firms like Limited brands and Information Resources Inc., where he was a Director supporting the Marketing Strategies team at Safeway Supermarkets out of their California headquarters. He led the team in managing revenues and capturing new business opportunities.
He is an engineering graduate from the from PSG College of Technology and holds an MBA from Babson College – Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business. He is the Member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Bangalore Chapter was an active Round Tabler in Bangalore and Cochin till 2020.
